We were a little apprehensive of this place because I hate clowns, so it took us a while to give it a chance. I am so glad we did and wish we wouldn’t have taken so long! The food is great! The service is excellent! The manager Eddie always remembers our names! And we might be mildly addicted to chubby sauce...lol

Great little place with great tacos. Picked up a fish taco and a shrimp taco, enjoy them both.

The dopest chill restaurant I ever been food was good delicious coming back for sure liked the decoration on the restaurant Chicano style 🤙!

Big portions and tasted great. Chips made to order, burrito tortillas toasted. We got the surf and turf (standard) and steak (no cheese or sour cream) burritos. A half order of chips is plenty for two people.(Only criticism : I thought the salsa could do with a bit more lime juice!)

So disappointed in our last visit. This place was amazing when it first opened. Our recent visit there was no soap in the restroom and when I told the server she was aware. The food just wasn't the same either.

Such a great place to visit for burritos and tacos. You definitely have to try the chubby salsa, it's sweet and one of the best salsa's ever! My brother's opinions are the burritos are good size and their menu is plenty, and you got to check out the orange and red and blue patent leather couches, it's got a great vibe😎

Loved this place!!! We came in after a movie and was greeted by a really friendly person who helped us order. The street tacos were amazing!!! The ambiance is fantastic!!! They also had my favorite local beer on tap👍 Go check this place out ASAP !! You won’t regret it!

Had the surf and turf burrito and a few beers. Food was awesome nice portions and the beer was ice cold. Can't go bad with cold beer and good food.

Good food but poor service and priced too high for that combination. Food was so slow coming out, the place was not even half full, that our group needed to eat in shifts to avoid cold fish/shrimp tacos.

Customer service was great, and attentive throughout our dining experience. The fish and shrimp tacos were flavorful and the garnishes that came with them were abundant. The ambiance and location is a great addition to the experience.

Oh my gosh! These tacos are to die for. Sooo fresh and worth every penny. Their fish taco is the best I’ve ever had. Also, there chips and salsa are ridiculous as well. The chips are freshly fried there. Overall delicious food!

Tacos were great with a classic bottle of coke. Churros were amazing. Don't leave this place without trying the churros!

Definitely interesting and appetizing. The decor is wild and wonderful and the food is really good. Was surprised that it was a counter kitchen and they do not do wait service. While this does keep the price low it also makes the service a little slow as you have to stand in line at the one and only counter, where only one person was working. But the Federale Carnitas Taco was a stand out as was the spicy salsa. The caliguey burrito was just a bit too weird with the french fries but hubby like it. Will explore more menu items next time and go when it is not busy.

Fantastic place. All staff are friendly and helpful. Super fun atmosphere and great throwback oldies. Small with plenty of seating inside and out.

Energizing and creative atmosphere. Nachos are the best especially with a side of their queso and hot salsa. Also for great Tex Mex try the Tri-Tip quesadilla.

I’ve been there once for breakfast burritos and another time for lunch. Both times the service was amazing. The food was incredible. Breakfast burritos were one of the best I’ve ever had. The different kind of salsas were excellent. Speaking of the salsas it was just very obvious they pay attention to the small details. From the service to the food everything was top notch.

Ordered the shrimp taco and the veggie taco. Both very delicious! Best shrimp taco I’ve ever had! My boyfriend loved his chicken burrito. The food is so good we went two days in a row for lunch.

In from out of town and stumbled upon this gem. Food was great and FAST. I got the skrimp carnal and surf and turf tacos. Also chips and salsa with guacamole. So happy with all the food. We were a group of 8 that ordered all at once at dinner time and everything still came out perfectly. Tasted very fresh and fantastic. Not sure what the guy at the counters name was but he was awesome and patient with us. All in all, great experience.

Fantastic Tacos from the OG with chubby sauce to the pounders carnal Baja style fish taco, you can't go wrong! Seriously loved this place from their Huntington Beach location and now I get an awesome new location in my own backyard! 😁

Chips and guacamole were amazing and the tacos didn’t disappoint either. They had a mad rush of people and one cook in the kitchen and he cranked it out!

I am an extremly picky peroson and very critical about places. I look for flaws pretty much. My husband hates going to places with me because I am that 1 that will ask for a manger if there is something wrong but I also with give credit when credit is due as like this place....if I could I would give 1k stars...LOVE THE FOOD!!!!! LOVE THE ATMOSPHERE.....LOVE THE ART, old school rap MUSIC, to bad LSD isnt legal becaase this place will trip you out....Co-Owner ANDY , F$^** Great, INTRODUCED himself, cleaned our table, made sure our food was on point(when I say on point, I mean on point. The right flavors, the right size, nachos feeds two with leftovers, chips and everything made to order and quick to serve, yes beer is served there too)....I HAVE FOUND MY GO TO SPOT FOR OCEANSIDE, CA!!!!!!

Bomb tacos, friendly service, awesome Oceanside atmosphere with tricky art and the VW Bus for a counter... Must dine here!

My husband and I went here for a spontaneous taco Tuesday dinner. It was delicious. And on Tuesday they have a taco deal for two dollars off select items. I will definitely go back. They customer service is great as well as the food. The atmosphere was rad, so many colors and rad things to look at. I love SANCHOS TACOS!

I've been going to taco shops and Mexican restaurants for many many years having grown up in this part of San Diego, and I have to say this is the best taco shop I've ever been to. The atmosphere is unique and inviting, the couches are insane! And the food is top-notch. The burrito was the surf and turf, and the choice of salsas was awesome. Try the chubby salsa it's sweet and mild at the same time, I've never tasted anything like it....A+ and well done and thanks for being opened during this time

This place is fun. The whole restaurant is covered in artwork. The order window is a VW bug set in the wall. The staff is super friendly and laid back. 2 walls of the restaurant open to the street and outdoor seating. Great for people watching. And, in my opinion, the carnitas nachos are the most delicious ever! We loved them so much we are them 2 days in a row. Great place.

Food is GOOD fresh and made to order. It can be a little pricey but worth every penny!!Grilled shrimp tacos with hand made tortilla OMG it’s life. By far my favorite spot 💕

Terrific nachos and burrito. Fast and friendly service. Super affordable. Chips were thick and crispy, meat juicy and tender. Try the chubbie sauce for a sweet and spicy addition to delicious food. Unique and comfortable atmosphere. Have already recommended to friends.

Tasty but they gave me the wrong burrito. Ordered and paid for a surf and turf but they gave me a caliguey instead. Got it to go and didn’t find out until I got home. Wouldn’t be bothered so much if they were the same price.Burrito is tasty but on the cold side. None of the cheese is melted. I kind of like it like that though. Reminds me of my childhood in some odd way.Maybe I got another Jared’s order? Keep your receipt! I’ll try again and update this...

Nice folks that make awesome tacos. My wife already ordered and was having nachos when I got there. I didn’t particularly like the salsa but the nachos was delicious. The owner came out of the way asking me if I needed anything, I was going to pay $1 for salsa. He didn’t charge me but came back with a delicious salsa. Thank you

Super chill and super tasty! The fish in the Pounder had the perfect batter and the tri-tip was amazing. Really fast and really friendly service, plus the decor is one-of-a-kind.

Pretty good food, they have beer. We'll go back to try the burritos and shrimp taco. The service is very nice, the girls are attentive and polite. The art is very interesting to look at.

This taco shop is so unique! There’s a broken down haunted bus you order out of. Chips are homemade and delish. Carnival/haunted house type decor. Food was A+! Very reasonably priced, drinks are $2, meals like $7-10.

All I can say is that I love this place! We came to Oceanside for a week and we came in each day for tacos. The food tastes amazing and they accommodate all of my dietary restrictions. The atmosphere is vibrant and original. The staff are some of the most genuine and down to earth people I've met. They all seem to be passionate about the food and the experience that you're having in the restaurant. I can't wait to come here again and I'll pray for the day that they'll open a restaurant near me.
